The Musical Copyright Society Nigeria Ltd/Gte (MCSN) has commenced operations at its Benin City office to cover Edo and Delta States.
The office situated at No.8 Amede Street, off Giwa Amu road, GRA, commenced operations penultimate week after a successful recruitment exercise.
The office is to take care of the licensing needs of users of musical works and sound recordings in Edo and Delta states by bringing the services closer to them.
A management team from its Lagos office is in the state to give the newly recruited staffs a comprehensive training in copyright administration to equip them with the tools they need to interact and licence users of music like hotels, lounges, restaurants, supermarkets, cinema halls, banking halls, factories, aircrafts, public transportation systems, buses, taxis, television and radio broadcast stations, and night clubs in the cities of Benin, Asaba and environs.
